This fanlisting is about Episode #100 in the anime, InuYasha. Although it is a filler episode, it is very well written by Katsuyuki Sumisawa, incorporating snippets of the group's memories in previous episodes of how Inuyasha saved them, whether literally or metaphorically. It also shows how the group has grown to be attached and trusting of each other.

Summary: In the Forest of Grief, the group (except Inuyasha) is encapsulated into cocoons by Garamaru which makes them dream of nightmares bred from their personal fears. Even after defeating Garamaru, Inuyasha can only watch helplessly as the cocoons continue to feed on everybody's nightmares. However, they each remember an incident in the past when Inuyasha saved them. This 'saving grace' allowed them to wake and break out of their cocoons by themselves. Thus, Inuyasha is able to wake from this real nightmare of losing his friends.
