The haunting past of the centipede monster that came through the Dry Well and Naraku's insidious traps bred the fear that Naraku would come over to the modern era and terrorise Kagome's family and friends.

In the final part of the nightmare, Kagome was running away from Naraku. The saving grace came when the full-human Inuyasha from ep13 arrived just in time. He transformed into half-demon to fight Naraku with Tetsusaiga.
