  Mantis Mutant

A praying mantis degenerate with a skull head and green hair. Sent by Naraku to retreive Kohaku's Sacred Jewel fragment.

  Mouryoumaru [魍魎丸]

A large demon made to be like a human. It was made from human's enery [人間の魄] by Hakudoushi, and has no heart. Kanna gave it a soul and Mouryoumaru travels with her and Akago.

  Musou [無双]

Naraku's attempt to cast out Onigumo. He was a faceless man, but took the face of a priest named Musou. His memories of being Onigumo slowly awakens but was reabsorbed into Naraku because of hisability to regenerate.

  Nanafushi [ナナフシ]

A demon who overtook the mountain of Bunza's tribe and built a barrier around it, making it impossible for them to gather food.

  Naraku [奈落]

A demon transformed from the desires of thief Onigumo. The big-ass villian in the anime. Often set insidious traps in order to taint the Sacred Jewel darker.

  Nushi [主—大ナマズ]

A giant catfish demon that resides in a lake and wants Shima as a bride. Incurred Miroku's wrath when he wanted to take Sango as his concubine.

  Ongokuki [音獄鬼]

A demon that abducts children with the sound of a flute, and sells them to other demons. Abducted Rin and several other village children, and was destroyed by Reverend Ungai.

  Onigumo [鬼蜘蛛]

The thief that Kikyo sheltered. He suffered horrible burns and was paralyzed. He desired Kikyo, and offered his body to demons to gain power. Naraku was born out of this merging of demons into his body. His burnt scar is the reason why Naraku has a spider-shaped burn mark on his back.

  Orochidayu [オロチ太夫]

A snake demon who looks very much like the Fake Water God in episode 27. With the help of Gyuoh and Gamajiro, he was able to make fake Sacred Jewels.

  Oyakata [お館様]

Chief leader of the Panther Devas [豹猫族]. The Panther Devas come from the West, and had fierce battles with both Sesshomaru and his father. He was killed by Sesshomaru's father, but was mummified. The four siblings then revived him with the Sacred Jewel fragments. Very cruel leader who stooped to killing his own subordinates to replensish his soul.

  Parasite Pupa [宿り蛹]

A parasite which feeds on weaker demons and manipulates them. The colony of them used to host on Gakusanjin, but is forced to moved when Naraku took Gakusanjin's guardian stone.

  Poison Insects [最猛勝]

Naraku's bugs from the Hive of Saimyosho. Also known as the Insect of Hell [地獄の虫]. They are very poisonous, and are the weak spot for Miroku's Wind Tunnel.

  Praying Mantis

A praying mantis demon who devours and takes the form of beautiful women. Tricked Miroku into believing she was the sole survivor of her clan, and that she wanted to bear his child.

  Priestess Sealer [巫女封じ]

A demon that eats the powers of priestesses. Takes the form of a cave, and an illusion of a child in distress is used to lure the priestesses in. A barrier is formed outside in whiche only priestesses are able to enter. The demon is immune to the powers of a priestess, and its heart lies in the center of the cave. Trapped Kikyo and Kagome.

  Princess Abi [阿毘姫]

A demon who controls bird demons [妖怪鳥]. They suck the blood of humans to nourish her mother, Tekkei.
