  Mayu Ikeda [真由]

The sister of Satoru, (Sota's classmate) who died in a fire. Her spirit lingers on to wreck vengence on Satoru, whom she believed to be her mother's favourite child.

  Midoriko [翠子]

The priestess of ancient times who held strong spiritual powers. The Sacred Jewel was born from a fight between her and a powerful demon. It is said that the fight between them still continues in the Jewel.

  Mimisenri [耳千里]

A demon with large long ears. Able to hear things from all around the world. Naraku asked for his help in locating the last Sacred Jewel fragment.

  Miroku [弥勒]

Monk whose family lineage is cursed by Naraku with a Wind Tunnel in their right palms. Once a prayer bead is taken off, the Wind Tunnel sucks in everything in its path. It gets a little each year, and eventually sucks in the bearer as well. Perhaps the fear of death makes him an 'amorous' person, always asking pretty women to bear his children.

  Mizuki [みずき]

A girl who Shippo had a crush on. In a bid to prove his worth to the fox demons, he played a trick on her. Mizuki hated him since, and caused Shippo's heart to break. This in turn lead to Shippo's new attack, Kokoro no Kizu [心の傷] or Wound of the Heart.

  Momiji [紅葉]

Part of a pair of priestesses (the other is Botan)who trained hard in the art of slaying demons and are Tsubaki's sister disciples. They were tricked by Tsubaki to fight Inu-gang so as to buy her more time. They are rather strong, but are still gigglish young girls at heart. Momiji means maple leaf in Japanese. They are native to the anime and doesn't appear in the manga.

  Monkey God [猿神さま]

Monkey God who resides in a Spirit Stone. When the shrine caught fire, the three monkey spirits moved the stone to a safer place, but quickly forgot it when they found acorns. Kagome eventually helped to find the stone. Was the one who told Inu-gang that Naraku headed in the Northeast direction.

  Monkey Spirits [子猿の三精霊]

Three monkey spirits who were in charge of taking care of the Spirit Stone of the Monkey God. From the left: Buso [ブン], Keso [ケン] and Goso [ゴン]. Very mischievous, love acorns and forgetful.

  Motoko [無男]

During the warring states era, the spirits of homeless soldiers often gathered to form a demon called Motoko. Rather slow and a little dumb, he was used by Jaken to steal Inuyasha's Tetsusaiga.

  Mou-mou [猛々]

Totosai's three-eyed cow. Although docile, it always lands dramatically with thunderbolts. It flies on clouds.

  Mrs Ikeda [悟の母]

The mother of Satoru and Mayu.

  Mushin [夢心]

Old monk who raised Miroku after his father was sucked into his own Wind Tunnel. Knows how to mend Wind Tunnels.

  Myoga [冥加]

A flea that knew Inuyasha's father and aspires to be Inuyasha's vassal. He is full of knowledge and tidbits of information about demons and the world, but flees at the slightest onset of danger.

  Nazuna [なずな]

A girl who lost her parents to Spider Head demons, and is thus weary of demons.

  Nobunaga [甘利信長]

A young man from the Takeda Clan in the land of Kai. He meets Inuyasha, Kagome and Myoga in his journey to rescue Princess Tsuyu. He likes her but Princess Tsuyu is devoted to her husband. Has a funny pet baboon named Hiyoshimaru.

    Old Man & Old Woman [おじいさんとおばあさん]

An old couple who took in Kohaku after he was found unconscious in a forest.

  Princess Tsuyu [露姫]

Princess from the land of Kai, who married a lord. Nobunaga started out to rescue her after hearing that the lord is acting strangely.
